My inspiration artist for this project was Julien Pacaud. He is a french artist and illustrator, currently living in Le Mans, France. I utilized the idea of using texture of clouds and grass as a shape and transform them into three dimensional objects. Also, I always wanted have Michigan related works on my wall, so I decided to used sculptures and buildings that represent Michigan and still use clouds and grass as texture. Football is a significant part of Michigan, which is why the stadium is the main part of my work. Also, nature and deer are common on North Campus, which is where I live and I adore that part of North Campus. This work represents personal value of what Michigan means to me.
